Schoolroom Buck is a minor character in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie and one of Mrs. Prancer's students.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie[]
The buck is first seen at school where he says that he would like to be a Flyer. But when Rudolph says he would like to be a Flyer too, this buck along with Rudolph's cousin Arrow and the rest of the class (except Mrs. Prancer and Zoey) laugh and ridicule him (because they think that Rudolph will never be chosen to be a Flyer because of his red nose), causing Rudolph to leave the school in tears. It is presumed that after Rudolph left the school, this buck along the rest of the class (sans Zoey), was scolded by Mrs. Prancer for hurting Rudolph's feelings.
He then appears briefly at The Christmas Eve Launch watching Santa Claus and the Flyers take off.
It is possible that years later after Rudolph ran away, he and the other reindeer and elves felt guilty for mocking him. After Rudolph saved Zoey from Stormella and saved Christmas, he and everyone at the North Pole realized his nose was something special and that he was worthy to be a Flyer.
