Fireball is one of the attendants at The Reindeer Games and a character in the 1964 Rankin/Bass TV film Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Biography
Fireball is one of the young bucks who take part in The Reindeer Games. He befriends another buck there, Rudolph and encourages him to go over to a doe named Clarice who is looking over at Rudolph. After Rudolph's high leaping (which was caused by Clarice telling that she thinks he's cute) impresses the Coach Comet, Rudolph's parents Donner and Mrs. Donner and Santa Claus, Fireball playfully has a tussle with Rudolph which causes his fake nose to fall off, revealing his real red one. This freaks out Fireball who tells Rudolph to stay away from him and ends their friendship. Afterwards Fireball along with the other young bucks laugh and ridicule Rudolph until Comet breaks this up and bans Rudolph from the rest of the games.
Fireball is not seen again, though it is possible that he is the buck who calls Rudolph "Old Neon Nose" after he returns home since he was the only buck who interacted with Rudolph. It may also be possible that he was amongst the bucks who cheer Rudolph when he along with his parents, Hermey and Clarice return.

- Fireball is similar to the Reindeer Children from the 1944 film Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Arrow in the 1998 film, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie as they bully Rudolph in their younger years before coming to respect him when they are older. However in Fireball's case, he started out as Rudolph's friend before finding out about his nose. Another difference between the two is that unlike Arrow, Fireball doesn't have romantic feelings for Clarice. Another similarity Fireball has with Arrow is that both of them have blonde hair.
