Yukon Cornelius is a character from the 1964 Rankin/Bass television special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and it's 2001 sequel Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and The Island Of Misfit Toys. He is an arctic prospector who was finding a peppermint mine while he is searching for the mine he rides his sled taming his dogs to move but when he sees Rudolph and Hermey's behinds he pulls them out of the snowbank and meets both of the misfits after pulling them out from the snowbank while they are trying to avoid the Bumble he even avoids the Bumble himself, then turns a slab of ice into a raft for the three off and they all end up and on the island of misfit toys where they befriend a group of unloved toys where Charlie gives them advice to go to King Moonracer's palace where they meet King Moonracer.
And then when Yukon And Hermey want some shut eye Rudolph leaves to find his parents. But finds out that Rudolph's parents and Clarice are trapped in Bumble's Cave but luckily he and Hermey arrive and try to fool the Bumble And when the Bumble notices them, the Bumble knocks Rudolph out making him dizzy Hermey is able to knock the Bumble out as well and makes him dizzy too and extracts all of his teeth while making the sounds of a pig oink. But then when Yukon and his sled dogs try to pull the Bumble down the cliff not only did the Bumble fell down the steep cliff but Yukon and his sled dogs did too and when he fell of the cliff and after all of that. All of his friends mourned the loss of Yukon but he survived somewhat survived the fall along with the reformed Bumble and tamed the Bumble to decorate a Christmas Tree by putting a star on top of it before the end of the movie in a deleted scene at the end of the movie (Before it is replaced by another scene featuring Santa Claus (Rankin/Bass) rescuing the misfit toys due to complaints made by fans) he finally found the peppermint mine he was searching for.
Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer And The Island Of Misfit Toys[]
He returns in this special where in the middle of the special. He and his friends disguised themselves as toys and went aboard the blimp except for the Bumble because he was too ginormous. Although all the others were safe. Yukon got pushed down the cliff by a boomerang that doesn't come back that was used by the Toy Taker who was responsible for swiping toys. But Yukon got rescued by the Bumble who tickled him and when the group catches the Toy Taker he used dental floss borrowed from Hermey and lassoed the Toy Taker who's identity is revealed to be a teddy bear named Mr. Cuddles near the end of the film.
